We have some fun news to share. Royal Polish Foods was recently featured in PHOENIX Magazine’s Sun Cities Day Trip, a guide to places to eat, shop and visit around the Sun Cities.

Royal Polish Foods is a Polish and Eastern European market, deli, bakery and hot-food spot in Sun City West, Arizona. PHOENIX Magazine included us as one of three places to eat during a day trip through the area.

And they gave a nice shout-out to a few of the things you’ll find when you walk through our doors.

A little bit of Poland in Sun City West

Royal Polish Foods is a little different from your typical grocery store.

You can pick up Polish and Eastern European groceries, shop the deli case, take home frozen pierogi, grab something from the bakery or sit down with a hot lunch.

PHOENIX Magazine called out some of the Eastern European staples we carry, including Sarepska mustard, kluski noodles and kvass. They also mentioned our bakery, fresh pierogi and hot food counter.

That’s a pretty good picture of what we do.

You might come in looking for a jar of mustard and leave with pierogi, sausage and something sweet from the bakery.

There’s plenty to look through, whether you’re familiar with Polish food or trying it for the first time.

Polish and European groceries

Mustards, noodles, pickles, canned goods, jams, sweets, baking supplies and other favorites from Poland and across Europe.

Pierogi

Our freezer and food case include different kinds of pierogi, including potato and cheese, sauerkraut and mushroom, and meat.

Deli meats and sausages

The deli case has Polish cold cuts, kielbasa and other sausages, along with meats you can take home for sandwiches, dinner or the grill.

Bakery treats

Look for favorites like kolaczki and other sweet treats. PHOENIX Magazine specifically gave our kolaczki a mention.

Hot Polish food

Our hot food counter features Polish favorites and rotating lunch specials. One example is kotlet, or Polish-style schnitzel, served with potatoes and cucumber salad.

The menu changes, so there’s always a reason to see what’s cooking.

A mention in PHOENIX Magazine

The Sun Cities Day Trip feature appeared in the July 2026 issue of PHOENIX Magazine. The article highlighted places to eat, things to do and places to stay around the Sun Cities, and included Royal Polish Foods in its list of places to eat.

We were especially happy to see the bakery and hot food counter get a mention. Those are a big part of what makes Royal Polish Foods more than just a place to buy groceries.
